Favorite Things:

Another must read:

Okay, so I know that I am super late to joining this bandwagon for promoting  #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso but I cannot believe how much I LOVED it! I am using late to joining trends and also I am not a huge fan of profanity/inappropriate humor, it's not my style, and was worried this might not be a good fit for me. But rest assured, #GirlBoss is not that. She is authentic, motivating and honest. I also LOVE the way she writes, you feel as though you are sitting next to her.

3 of my favorite take aways:
  1. "It's cool to be kind. It's cool to be weird. It's cool to be honest & to be secure with yourself."
  2. "The straight and narrow is not the only path to success."
  3. "While you're reading this, I have three pieces of advice that I want you to remember. Don't ever grow up. Don't become a bore. Don't ever let the man get to you. Okay? Cool. Then let's do this!"

Meet me @ the Barre. . .

Not my photo. From Google Search: Barre Class
Not what you were originally thinking, right? About two years ago,  a couple of my friends convinced me to try this class and I was immediately hooked. It is a great workout. The class works and targets all the things many woman like to focus on: thighs, glutes, arms and abs! The down side is the classes tend to be a bit pricey but I guarantee the work out is worth it.

3 important things to know about class:
  1. Either paint your toe nails or bring socks with grips. Most studio's prefer you to go barefoot and you don't want to be blindsided since it is winter and most of us tend to ignore our toes and opt for Mani's.
  2. The chair, as pictured above, is my LEAST and MOST favorite workout. It is extremely tough but I know the burn is so worth it!
  3. Wear layers. The workout will get your body working, so it's nice to be prepared with layers to adjust to what your body is telling you.

Spring Must Haves:

And lastly, just because I gave up shopping doesn't mean you have too! I've linked a few things I have in my closet and LOVE. If you were to purchase 3 items (I have a theme going today) these would be my must haves for spring. They are all affordable and completely worth the money and will serve as staples in your wardrobe.
