Meet Lauren, the girl behind the blog!

Hi lovely, thanks for taking the time to stop in and check out my blog. I am in my late 20's and a full time Reading Specialist at a Middle School. 
Most of my friends call me "Lo" for short. And yes this started because of my girl, Lo, from Laguna Beach. 

Why did you create this blog?

I started this blog as a creative outlet. I'm just a girl who has an eye for fashion and shops on a budget! My style combines preppy, classic and trendy. My goal for this blog is that you'll love it so much you have to keep coming back. Don't forget to subscribe  to your "daily dose of style inspiration" via email.

Why Roses & Rain Boots?
I chose the name Rose & Rain Boots because I consider myself a romantic and roses are some of the most romantic flowers. A few years ago I read in a magazine that people who see real flowers in the morning are happier. Since then I've tried to adopt that philosophy and add some live flowers into my home on a regular basis. I also chose rain boots, known as wellies in England, as a way to connect with my English roots. It rains often in England but somehow wellies make it a lot more enjoyable!

Who takes your photos?
My sweet boyfriend HUSBAND takes all my photos. Yes, I said all of them. One day my cousin shared this hilarious "Husband's of Instagram" video that had us rolling with laughter because of the reality the video captures. Although, I like to think I'm not that bad... Don't we all. But the message here ladies: find someone who loves and supports you. My husband is one of my biggest supporters and motivators, I am so lucky! #blessed
