everything you need to know about hair extensions

Back in September, I had the opportunity to get hair extensions. I was pumped! I had been influenced by all the influencers for so long that I desperately craved hair extensions for the length and volume. I have super fine straight hair and always struggle to get volume. I do find that when I use a curling wand, my hair has more volume, but I have to be careful because of heat damage. So when the opportunity came for me to finally try out hair extensions, I jumped at the chance. And truth be told, I'm so happy I did.

So grab your cup of coffee because today I'm excited to be spilling the tea, dishing the REAL truth, about wearing hair extensions.

Good Morning! I hope most of you had yesterday off as we honored one of the greatest civil rights leader and public speaker of all time, Martin Luther King Jr.

I was in a classroom the other day and the teacher was sharing some of her favorite bits and pieces of MLK's speeches to help educate students on two things: the power of words and why we had Monday off from school. Along with others, she reminded students about one of MLK's most memorable quotes "What are you doing for others?" It's great to see how far society has come in many aspects, and despite it all being kind and helping others are still at the core of it all!

Anyone else dread the three longest months of the year: January, February, and March. I always feel like these months test my patience. It's always super cold, gets dark out by 5pm, and there's not a lot going on. I don't mind the chill of December because it's full of holiday cheer and supposed to be cold. But then comes winter and it just feels so dreary. I miss the leaves on the trees and the warmth. However; we were SO lucky over the weekend to have some unexpectedly warm weather. It was such a treat.

Unfortunately, we don't usually get weather like this, so I'm sharing my tips for avoiding the post-holiday /winter blues.

Top 10 Best Sellers of 2019

I've seen this round-up on so many blogs and I thought to myself, why not share our top sellers from Roses and Rain Boots! And yes, OUR, because y'all make it possible!

It's fun to look back and see what we all love to shop!

To help make this round-up a little more fun for y'all, I've only linked the top 10 items that are still in stock. I personally find it frustrating to click on a bunch of links just to find they are all sold out. So I did my best, to sift through the top 10 items that are still in stock.

Hello everyone & welcome back to the blog!

I can't believe we are already in 2020. Where did the time go? As we move into a New Year, I thought it was time I shared my resolutions. I'm not one to make "big" resolutions because I find huge life changes are always difficult to achieve, and then I feel discouraged if I slip-up once, and feel the whole process is ruined. Instead, I wanted to pick something that would be achievable.

Where to stay in London

For our honeymoon B and I choose to experience London at Christmastime together! This was going to be B's first time in Europe, let alone London, and I wanted our stay to be exceptional, and I knew just the place.

The Montague on the Gardens Hotel.
