I can't believe we've hit the FINAL day in August and the final days of summer. Honestly, looking back this was one of the "slowest" summers we have had. But at the same time, I wonder where did the time go??  This was definitely a summer of change and firsts and new traditions. It was the first year my family didn't take our annual trip to OGT, Maine.

On that same note, we've been looking forward to local outdoor day trips we can take and one that is a favorite is our annual trip to Dahlia Shed is one of my favorite things of summer. And while this summer hasn't been the summer most of us have hoped for, the Dahlia Shed was just perfect.

I'll be honest, sales seriously overwhelm me! Especially a sale like the Nordstrom Sale, which is so unique because instead of listing all the items at the end of a season (basically the ones that didn't sell), brands opt to gather this year's current releases and put them on sale!

It's a great time to stock up on basics, like a new pair of booties. I'm picking pieces that will go with what I already have in my closet. These pieces will make my wardrobe go further. If you have to buy a whole new look for the cardigan, don't get it!

Hello lovely, we have another DIY project coming at ya today!

I'm so excited that y'all were inspired by our DIY painted dresser to update some of your own furniture. I'm all about repurposing to elongate the life of something. For example, when decorating during seasons I often go "shopping in my own home" looking for decorations around the home that can be moved and rearranged to create a refresh.
