a St. Patrick's Day outfit

Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day, but when you are Irish you are really Irish on St. Patrick's Day (If you are Irish then you will know what I mean). Today's post is all about what to wear and how to appropriately celebrate St. Patrick's Day!

When deciding what to wear on St. Patrick's Day, Green is always the right answer. No need to go crazy with fancy tops any sort of green will do but if you are set on wearing an "Irish" shirt I've got you covered. My first go to is always Five Below, I know this sounds a little weird... wait a minute, a fashion blogger shops for clothes at Five Below?! And yes, I do for certain things. The shirt I'm wearing is actually from there and cost me all of five dollars and I've worn it at least 5 times, that's basically $1 for each time I wear it. If you don't find anything at Five Below I highly suggest the Children's section of Target, yes the adult section will have some adorable tops but at almost double the cost! The children's section will have you in and out for under $10.

Now y'all know how much I LOVE the dollar section at Target. Yes all caps are necessary because that's how much I love it. #targetdollarspot is my best and worst friend. It has me wasting all my time going crazy for all the goodies my store has yet to get, but also gives me so much inspiration. So to get to the point, I love to get some accessories from there to jazz up my outfit. And as a rule of thumb I don't spend more than $5. PS- these awesome face jewels were 4 for $1 so you can keep one and share with your friends!Ps.  how cute are these mustaches?!
And if you are anything like me then usually you are doing a lot of walking on the day so converse a must.
Also, please remember to layer after all It is only March. In Connecticut it is not yet warm enough to get away without a jacket so my strategy is wearing long sleeves (Under Armour stuff for skiing) is great for keeping you warm while looking cute!
Lastly, I am always busy taking selfies with friends so be sure to check out my instagram and NEW Facebook page dedicated just for this blog and like it if you haven't already!

How do you plan to celebrate St. Patrick's Day?
