Happy Columbus Day y'all. This is definitely one of my favorite weekends in the fall, because it comes at the perfect time. We are fully back into the routines at school now, so it is a nice surprise to have an extra day off for some fall activities. Over the weekend, B & I went on our first apple picking adventure of the season. We always have so much fun choosing exactly what apples we each want to pick and then later making homemade apple crisp. On Sunday, I was lucky enough to host my second event with Loft, this time at the Westfarms Mall. It was such a fun day filled with shopping, styling, snacks and more! Thank you to everyone who came out to meet & shop with me. Y'all are truly the best! Today I'm off for a deep conditioning treatment at my hair salon (these are a cheaper alternative to a hair cut and help to keep my long locks healthy) and lastly, I'm hoping I will be able to take some more photos for the blog. Fingers crossed the rain holds off. Shop the look:
Today's look is one of my favorites; it's a quick and easy way to create a polish looked that is also SO comfortable. I'm all about reusing clothes throughout seasons, which is another reason why this look is a favorite. Today I paired my favorite summer maxi dress, with some new accessories to create a new look for fall. Statement earrings are such a trend and easily one of my favorite accessories. They are a quick way switch up an outfit. I often underestimate the power good accessories have on creating new looks. If statement earrings aren't your thing, I recommend pairing this summer maxi dress with an easy chambray shirt (pictured above), and adding a patterned scarf to create your affordable and easy look for fall! Thanks for stopping in & happy Monday!
Hello Lovely, thanks for stopping in and checking out my blog! My style tends to be classic and preppy with a mix of trendy pieces. I am a school teacher so my wardrobe is modest and practical! Great for the typical working girl.
