I hope everyone had a lovely weekend and were able to spoil their mother. And for those of you who were unable to celebrate with your mother, I hope you were able to celebrate another special woman in your life.  This year my mom wanted to do Mother's Day a little differently and instead of a traditionally small dinner we got together with her sister's extended family. As a gift for my mother, we tried to share some of the prep work and provide some of the dishes to be shared. Additionally, my mother and I both hate to grocery shop, so over the weekend I endured the hour long trip to grocery shop with her.

I love fashion because it's such a fun way to express yourself. On day's when I'm exhausted I struggle to pair together an unique look, something I usually try to hope to create. However; on day's when I'm inspired I put together looks like this one. These paperbag pants are heaven. This style is like wearing PJ pants to work. They are so comfortable and make me feel like I've got legs for days. The high-waisted pants are a trend that's here to stay this season for two reasons: not only are they extremely comfortable but also flattering.
