Christmas Tree Farm

"Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree..." There is something so magical about going to a tree farm, finding the perfect tree, and bringing it home. In order to get the best trees, you have to go early. Every year the day after Thanksgiving we head to the tree farm for when they open to "tag" our family tree. Since B and I were never allowed to have a real Christmas tree in our previous apartment, we decided to wait until we have our own house to start this tradition. So, for now, we just enjoy the experience of helping my parents pick their tree. And, since both my parents decided to photobomb, they both made the blog today. #surprise

exact leggings // exact socks, also love this pair // exact boots

To stay warm this winter season, I layer up (not pictured is my huge "puffy" jacket that I always wear on really chilly days). I love the way a classic button-down looks layered under a turtleneck sweater. It is the perfect touch to elevate any look. Also, to all my mom's out there, these leggings are ah-mah-zing. I did size up but they are the most comfortable pair of leggings I own. They hold everything in place and are not see-through. These are definitely a piece worth investing in.
