For this try-on, I focused on building a holiday wardrobe centered around a few staple pieces that could mix & match together.
So let's get to it:
Dress
This dress is absolutely beautiful! It's probably my favorite piece. The pictures do not do it justice. There is this beautiful iridescent flower woven throughout. My only complaint is that this dress is a tad short for me, I'm 5'9" once again for reference. I didn't have tights with me, but I would not be able to wear this dress without tights.
Next up, I'm featuring this skirt styled four different ways.
Outfit 1: Red floral shirt & skirt
I love this skirt because of the subtle sequin detail woven throughout. It's also navy, which is different than most holiday pieces that are black/silver. The sequin detail is also subtle enough that this skirt is completely work approved.
Outfit 2: sequin sweater & skirt
We all know I'm all about the layers. I hate to be cold, so this snuggly sweater caught my eye. I love the texture of it & it also has a subtle shimmer to it, the perfect update to a basic turtleneck sweater. This sweater is not itchy too, which is always an added bonus.
Outfit 3: blue sparkle top & skirt
This is a great way to pattern mix and style this look for work. I love the sleeve detail and floral print on the blouse, which would also pair well with dress pants or a pair of jeans.
Outfit 4: turtleneck & skirt
This outfit is such a good closet staple. I love a good turtleneck for layering or by itself. It can be dressed down or dressed up. I love this particular one because it has a "mock neck" not a roll neck turtleneck, and the top has a subtle raw hem/ruffle detail.
Outfit 5: turtleneck & beaded denim jeans
These jeans are so fun! I love the beaded detail, such a fun look for the holidays if you are a jeans type of a gal. I did notice the beads made the jeans feel a little heavier when holding, but I didn't notice any difference when they were on.
Outfit 6: turtleneck, white corduroy jeans, and scarf.
This outfit is such a classic look. I'm here for winter whites. We are doing our yearly progressive dinner with my mom's side of the family and our theme is black & white, I may have to scoop up this look & swap the scarf for this one.
Outfit 7: sweater and white corduroy jeans
This sweater is definitely a fan favorite. I mean who doesn't love a cute sweater for all the holiday festivities. I love it paired with these white corduroy's but it would also pair well with jeans.
Outfit 8: red sweater, plaid shirt, and black denim
This is one of my favorite looks for the try-on. It's SO chic and festive. Plus all these pieces pair well with SO many options. This red sweater is cropped, which makes it perfect for layering. It's also the perfect "red" not the orange-y red.
Outfit 9: black top & black denim
Again, such a chic look. You can't go run with an all black outfit and the shimmer details on the sleeves make this holiday approved!
Outfit 10 beaded sweater & denim
Last up is this fun beaded sweater. Warning, the beaded detail on this sweater make it challenging to wash. With that said, the beaded detail is stunning in person, and I love the puff sleeve. Sleeves' detail like that always makes me feel glamorous.
