J.Crew Factory Try-On

Good morning. I apologize for my absence lately. It's been hard to find the inspiration to write about things fashion and style related when there's so much chaos and anxiety in the world. But on the same note, I did say I was going to try and keep things positive, inspiring, and encouraging on this platform. So this may be a few weeks, try over a month late, but I wanted to share an easy way to build some classic and timeless outfits by mixing and matching pieces.

Shop:

Outfit 1
A classic black sweater and jeans.
This combo is timeless, add a pair of flats and a statement bag and you're ready to meet a friend for coffee.

Outfit 2
Another way to dress up the looks is to toss on a cardigan. This one is perfect for layering and transitioning into those spring time months, since it's finally time to put away those winter coats!

Outfit 3
Another fan favorite, is a classic white button down. I like the ruffle sleeve detail on this style and sized up for a looser fit, so I could knot it.

Outfit 4
Pop on a sweater for chilly nights.

Outfit 5
One way to style a white button down and jeans for work is to add a blazer. Every one needs a good fitting blazer in their wardrobe. This is something that is definitely worth investing in. I love the camel color and gold button details on this one.

Outfit 6
To dress this look up, swap the jeans for a fun skirt. I love this leopard skirt and consider it a neutral. A lot of people find leopard as intimidating, but paired with neutrals creates a really stunning, chic look.

Outfit 7
On those summer days, loose the blazer for a work approved look.

Outfit 8
Black and leopard are always a go in my book. I knotted the sweater for a little edge.

Outfit 9
Again, by staying with a color theme you are able to mix and match lots of items to create different looks. Adding a blazer brings a whole new look to this outfit.

Outfit 10
If you are a fan of color, adding a pop of pink is a playful way of styling leopard.

Outfit 11
I love a classic pencil skirt and couldn't help myself when I saw this tweed print for spring. It's has the most subtle pink and blue tweed pattern, making it easy to mix and match with lots of items already in my wardrobe.

Outfit 12
For a more trendy look, don't be afraid to pattern mix. I love the subtle tweed paired with this bold leopard cami.

Outfit 13
Ballet pink is always a classic in my book. I love how feminine and girly this skirt it. Pair it was black for the ultimate classic, chic look.

Outfit 14
Again, add a cardigan for a new look.

Outfit 15
To transition to warmer months, loose the sweater and add a white button down.

Outfit 16
Lastly, is my favorite look. I didn't find these jeans until after I started my try-on and let me just say I am obsessed. I love the button front detail and fit, paired with a fun leopard top and cardigan.
