Couples/ Family Fall & Winter Outfit Ideas

I've gotten some requests for family photo / couples engagement photo ideas. I'm so excited to share a few of my favorites over the years and of course some new looks. To help captivate everyone's unique style I wanted to offer a few different options. 

One of my favorite looks is a timeless meets glam look. Honestly, I think there's nothing better than a man in a dress pants and a nice button down. It's nothing original but it's elegant and classic.

Another favorite is to dress appropriately! If it's cold and snowing, wear your winter jackets and boots. When B and I planned this shoot we weren't supposed to be in the snow, but our photographer asked if we would be up for trying a shoot in the snow. Honestly it's some of my favorite photos and was so fun! My only regret is that we didn't pack our snow boots.

Christmas plaid. This is another favorite look. Picking a color or print and incorporating it into everyone's look is an easy way to get that coordinated/ match-y family photo look.

Winter layers are also another favorite. There's nothing more classic than a Christmas tree farm photo shoot. It's tradition. For this look, embrace the outdoors and layer. B took off his jacket for this photo and I could have just as easily. Wearing a neutral sweater and a jacket allows you to get two different looks with one outfit.
