Rainy Day Attire: SALE ALERT!

A few weeks back I posted my rainy day work attire on Instagram and got a few inquiries about it.

But first... a disclaimer: it was freezing when my boyfriend and I later decided to shoot these photos so pardon my expressions and lack of variety in photos. Alright, now let's get started. This sweater was a target find and under $15. It is still on sale and in stock, so go order yours. Quick!

This sweater (a little hard to tell in the pictures) is rose, one of Pantone's 2016 color of the year.

Blush/rose/light pink, which ever you prefer to call it, has been paired a lot with grey this winter and I decided to give it a whirl since I have grey Hunter boots. Disclaimer (again) I love my hunters. I will encourage everyone to buy them, however; they do not keep your feet warm when outside during winter. They are not insulated so either save them the for warmer days during the winter season or splurge and purchase their boots socks. These make a huge difference in providing extra warmth.

The exact dress from Old Navy (also under $15!) and two additional options for you.
Option One. Option Two.

And because I like to stay warm I paired this outfit with my favorite Madewell leggings. So Lovely I am dying to know,  have I sold you on these yet? Go by yourself a pair. You will not regret it.

Lastly, this scarf has been on repeat lately. Since this purchase was a bit of a splurge and I used some Birthday money on it, I always want to ensure the item will be worth it. One way I measure an item's worth is by how many different outfits I will be able to make using it. I've already been think about how I can't wait to wear it with a jean jacket and cute little black dress come spring.
My exact scarf is sold out now. But I linked a different option, one I am seriously crushing on and think will be a perfect addition for warmer weather ahead.

As always thanks for taking the time to stop in and read Roses and Rain Boots.
