Over the weekend, Y'all got a glimpse into some of my everyday life. As you might have guessed family is SO important to me and I'm so thankful that B also shares those same values. Growing up as an only child I can't imagine what life would have been like without all my cousins. We were, well are, so blessed that for the most part we all still live close to each other so we can get together for things like the holidays and a progressive dinner.
Y'all asked: "What is a progressive dinner?"
Typically... a progressive dinner is hosted in a neighborhood where everyone takes a part of the meal, cocktails, apps, first course, etc. and then the guests walk from house to house. However; since my family lives in different towns we rotate between three homes and everyone is assigned a portion and house to help with. This year, my cousin Kelley (Y'all have seen her a lot, she was also a bridesmaid) helped B, and I host cocktail hour and apps at our new place. It was such a success!!
