B and I had the best time exploring Charleston when we visited back in April. Located a few blocks off of King Street is this most charming little bake shop, Sugar, which can be found tucked amongst residential homes. The cupcakes were some of the best I've ever had, seriously. I can't wait to go back and indulge in a few more! I'm a huge fan of the button detail that's to be found on shirts, dresses, skirts, shorts, etc. It's such a fun way to update the basic white tank. Tops like these can easily be dressed up with a chic ruffle skirt (pictured) or white ripped jeans and wedges for date night (flat lay picture here).

Another favorite of the moment are all the flowly skirts and shorts. I love the feminie edge to this ruffle skirt. As soon as I saw it in the store I knew I had to have it. It can be paired with a matching top for a different look. Another option are the flowly shorts. These shorts give the illusion and feel of a skirt, while serving as the full function of a short, calling all mamas these are for you!

This weekend was one good for the soul. We got our first real taste of sweet summertime, with an outdoor picnic that ended up being so warm out, the sun had us craving shade! It was such a refreshing feeling to actually be "hot" it's been so rainy and cold I worried we were skipping spring altogether. Thanks to our friends for hosting an early memorial day picinic! It's always nice visiting and catching up with friends. Later, we finished the night off with a lovely dinner with both sets of parents. It's not often the six of us are able to dine together so these moments are cherished.

What did you do this weekend?
