You may have caught a glimpse of this dress the other day on Instagram, when I teamed up with six other bloggers to show you the same dress, different colors, styled uniquely by each girl & styled on different body types. I had so much fun collaborating with them & I hope y'all enjoyed it too!

Woo hoo! I officially accomplished no heat for 31 days. Actually this marks day 36 with absolutely no heat. This challenge was definitely a test for me. My hair basically serves as a security blanket for me. It also is a confidence booster. Anyone else feel this way? I love the way my hair looks when it is curled and I definitely feel more confident. However; curling my hair frequently combined with hair products that contained protein (which is extremely bad for blonde hair) caused my hair to start to break. To help get my hair back on track, I've gave up all heat, switched my shampoo and conditioner routine and added a hair vitamin to the mix. I'm hoping to see some more hair growth by the end of summer. At the moment, I'm not really noticing anything, but that could be because I find myself checking almost daily. What's that old saying "watched grass never grows"but boy the struggle real!
On that note, I felt when I wasn't adding heat to my hair, I had more of an un-done look. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the messy bun, pony tail, or air-dried hair. Just after a while, when I'm heading into work, I like to look a bit more professional. After some encouragement from one of my friends, I discovered how to curl my hair without heat as pictured above. I'm excited to share that all the curls featured today were created using only a headband.
