All the Fall Things & Columbus Day Weekend Sales

I can't believe it is already Columbus Day Weekend. Where is the time going? We are in full fall mode over in New England. It is peeking foliage time, and the colors have popped everywhere. We have also been extremely fortunate to have yet another "fake fall," as some would call it. The weather has been surprisingly and unexpected warm these past few weeks. Although after the storm that just passed through, I think sweater weather is officially here & I am here for it!

Now that October is here, B and I have started to do all the fall things.

A few weekends back, we made a trip into RI to the cutest farm to pick out some pumpkins for our front porch. While we were at our house in the fall last year, I was in the midst of moving, unpacking, and throwing B a surprise 30th birthday. Needless to say, the decorations were not a priority. As a result, this year, I have been sure to do it up!

Additionally, B and I went golfing with my family, it was the perfect New England day a bit breezy, and we were the only golfers on the back 9 (check out that golf lingo). It was a great opportunity for us to take our time and practice. That same day, B and I ventured to apple picking and of course, for some apple cider donuts. I think apple cider donuts may be the highlight of our fall. This year, we've made it a point to try and explore our state and nearby states some more, and we have thoroughly enjoyed sampling all the cider donuts. So far, our favorite ones were from the quiet corner of CT & we stumbled upon this farm because of our fall festival bike ride.

What are some of your fall traditions?

In today's look, I'm featuring some of my favorite closet staples for fall. What I love about this look especially, is that all the items are old (from past seasons) with the exception of my cardigan, purchased at the #NSale this year. While my bag was gifted to me c/o of GiGi NewYork. It is a bag I would whole heartily spend every penny of my own money on. It's the perfect color for all year round, holds my phone, wallet, sunglasses and case, and a few other essentials. I also love that it can be monogrammed, I love the extra gold personalization. Also, they go on sale! Stay tuned, because I will definitely share when my favorite bag goes on sale.
