Monday morning intentions

Morning lovely,

Monday mornings always feel like a refresh button. I use it as a way to set my intentions for the week. Since March, I've been struggling to find routines hat work and stick.  I was just talking to my friend about how I have all the time in the world and yet some days it feels like I've accomplished nothing. Can anyone else relate? Now I use Monday's as a way to focus on positive intentions for the week, forgiving myself for any lazy days the week before and making some realistic goals.

We've talked about this before, but getting ready for the day definitely helps get my mind in the right place. My office, is also the space I use to do my makeup and get ready, so I try to break up that routine by having breakfast in between, after I get ready and clean up. That way when I return to my office space it's tidy and my mind is ready to focus on work.

I love building the idea of a capsule wardrobe, featuring key pieces that all mix and match together. I find that even changing up the accessories can give a completely different look, which is one of the main reasons I've been opting to fill my closet with more Ann Taylor. Their clothes are so classic and chic, with the nod to current fashion trends. For example, these high rise denim are on trend, featuring a button-front, but have the silhouette of a classic skinny jean.

Which look is your favorite?

  1. I have definitely been struggling to stick to a routine. Mondays are great for fresh intentions. I try to write a to-do lists with things I know I can accomplish and then give myself a few short breaks in between. This surprisingly has helped me be able to stay on track and check those things off my to-do list!
