J.Crew Holiday Try-On

I can't believe we are well into the holiday season. This month is just flying by!

J.Crew is one of my FAVORITE places to stock up on holiday looks. While shopping for holiday looks, I usually opt for basics that can mix and match with holiday pieces to create multi-purpose looks.  There's still time to scoop up these classic pieces for the holidays. Plus, who doesn't love a good sale.

Also, just wanted to send out a little note. Sorry for the poor quality of images.
Let's get started:

Plaid is always a good idea for the holidays. Plus there are so many options, there is a style for everyone. If wearing a bold print overwhelms you, keep the top simple and understated.  So if plaid pants aren't you thing, there are plaid tops, hair pins, and more.

As soon as I saw this black top, I was immediately drawn to it. I love the delicate sleeves and the subtle polkadots. Honestly, it's the most feminine and flattering top. Pair it with festive plaid pants for now, and jeans for later.

Pairing this festive top with jeans creates a totally girlie and chic date night look! It's casual but still so dressy and feminine. Top Fits TTS.

An all black outfit, will forever be one of my favorite go-to's. It is just such a timeless classic look. I LOVE this look for two reasons. The first is that the sweater is extremely warm. It is so cozy and it's hard to see in the picture, but it has the prettiest ruffle neck detailing, so it's the perfect update to a basic black sweater. The second reason, is that these pants are PULL-ON and velvet. These pants were made for the holidays at home.

Another great basic is a good button-down. It seems like every year, I add a new plaid button down from J.Crew to my collection. And for good reason. They are a closest staple, especially during the holidays.

Another way to style a button down is to layer! I popped on this chunky knit sweater to wear with it and paired it with jeans for a more causal, but festive look for the holidays. A chunky knit sweater is ALWAYS a good idea. This sweater has already gotten so much wear and I know it will be one I'm reaching for in the winter months.

This Gemstone sweater is one of my favorites from the holiday collection. I love the sparkle and pink combo. It works for now, paired with Christmas plaid and later for Valentine's Day. I sized up one in this sweater.

A pink coat is always a good idea. I was surprised at how well this coat fit in the regular size. Normally, I get tall's in all my J.Crew coats. This is the 2-regular and it fits great. It is the perfect statement coat for warmer days.
