How to create a delicate spring outfit using a blanket scarf & must-have target jacket

I've mentioned it before, but seriously, I love this blanket scarf. I believe it to be the new "It" scarf.  It has definitely been a go-to of mine this winter. Today's post is all about how to transition blanket scarves into your spring wardrobe. I don't know about you but I always try to get the most of out each item in my closet and therefore I am not ready to part with my blanket scarves yet.

I paired today's blanket scarf with a faux leather jacket that I picked up from Target a few years back. Every year they release "this years" style and I highly recommend that you run, don't walk to Target to get yours! You will be very pleased with the quality and wear it all the time.

I also paired this scarf with a long sleeve dress. I sometimes even add a turtle neck underneath for extra warmth. For today's outfit I opted out of wearing my favorite leggings and chose nude stockings instead. I'm even thinking of adding some patterned tights next time. I picked up some black rose patterned ones at and as I was writing this post thinking about how wonderfully they would go with this outfit in a future wear. (Yes, I re-wear outfits with a few subtle changes and YES this was a tangent, sorry about that!)

Although I am not wearing leggings I do have my favorite J.Crew camp socks on because my feet always get cold so I like to be proactive about this!

Lastly, I paired my Juicy Couture chain link bag with my white pom-pom. I am loving this trend! It is so affordable and just a great way to have a little fun with your day to day staples. Have you picked up your pom-pom yet?!
