Your 4th of July Outfit & Top 5 Summer Must Do's

Is it really almost the 4th of July weekend? Where has the time gone? This past school year flew by and now the summer is, too. As a result, I wanted to share with y'all my summer bucket list to ensure that I prioritized my must do's before the end of summer. 

Planning the Perfect Summer Outfit

Hey y'all! Did you have a good weekend? I seriously had the best weekend. These types of weekends don't come around that often because we had friends that have seriously turned into family visit for a long weekend. Truthfully the weekend just wasn't long enough. Our family lives on a channel island off of the United Kingdom. Since they live so far away we obviously don't get to see each other often. However; despite how ever much time has passed it feels like no time has passed at all. In fact, it actually feels like just yesterday we were little kids growing up and putting on performances for our parents to watch. 

Healthy Summer Glow

I'm sure y'all are sick of hearing me talk about summer but let's be honest, it really is the best time of the year. I feel myself naturally being even happier than normal (I like to consider myself a pretty bubbly and happy person). Part of being happy comes from "looking good". My dad always encouraged me to put my best foot forward and look my best, especially when it came to the workforce. He always uses the moto "You have to look good, to feel good." And it's right, looking good really does change your attitude. You would think that feeling good during the summer is having that summer glow from hours spent at the beach. Right? Wrong.

Now that summer is officially here (I know I keep saying this, but now it is officially, officially here, since the calendar & Facebook says so!) it is time to pull out my favorite summer essentials. For starters, a gold monogram necklace and white converse are part of my summer uniform. These are definitely a favorite of mine and I am always getting compliments on them. Also, if you still haven't purchased a pair of converse (which you NEED too) I recommend getting the no-tie ones linked here, the lace ups pictured on me here are great, but I would love them even more if I could just actually slip them on and not have to tie them. Does that make me lazy? ooops....

It's FINALLY summer y'all!! I cannot believe it. Although I am doing a couple projects for work it's nothing too demanding on my schedule. This is actually my first summer not teaching summer school. I am so excited to have the next two and half months to blog, beach it and relax. What is your favorite thing to do during the summer?!
