I cannot believe how lucky we have been in New England. Despite it being alarming about the weather, I am not complaining that it was 60 degrees and sunny out. If you missed on Instagram, I was actually in the city for the end of the week and Saturday, and it was the best weather. My coworker and I were able to enjoy meals outside, including dinner & I didn't have to wear my winter jacket. Y'all this is HUGE for New England.
Then immediately upon arriving home on Saturday, B & I said a quick hello, and we proceeded to get in the car to head back towards NYC so that I could support some of my local blogger gals at their party for the Grand Opening of Evereve. While exhausting, I'm glad I got to visit with these girls, since I don't get to see them too often. I'm hoping to be able to catch up with them over the holiday season! But for now, I am choosing to focus on Halloween & my BIRTHDAY week! Shop:
I am super excited about today's post because I'm sharing a different passion of mine, decorating. As much as I love fashion, I equally love decorating our home. When B & I first met, decorating our house was not a priority for him, and after some reasoning and some visualizing, he now gets into it with me. While my vision usually drives the decorating, I want B to enjoy our home as well, so compromises are always important.
I can't believe it is already Columbus Day Weekend. Where is the time going? We are in full fall mode over in New England. It is peeking foliage time, and the colors have popped everywhere. We have also been extremely fortunate to have yet another "fake fall," as some would call it. The weather has been surprisingly and unexpected warm these past few weeks. Although after the storm that just passed through, I think sweater weather is officially here & I am here for it!
Now that October is here, B and I have started to do all the fall things. Shop the post:
Hello Lovely, thanks for stopping in and checking out my blog! My style tends to be classic and preppy with a mix of trendy pieces. I am a school teacher so my wardrobe is modest and practical! Great for the typical working girl.
