Apparently y'all love the try-on's as much as I love going in search of some great new finds to share with you guys. I enjoy hearing back from what you guys want to see and there was an overwhelming positive response for more try-on's. I already planned a try-on session for J.Crew Factory because with less than 40 days left of school, I am in work outfit planning mode. And the factory store is one of my favorite places to shop for work basics.
Before we get started, please keep in mind, that our store had a limited stock and I was striking out on sizes left and right, so things may not fit exactly as they should in some of the pictures. Also, I'll be sharing a few things I have my eye on that I discovered while I was getting the post ready and shopping online that weren't available in the store.
I am doing something a little different over here at RosesandRainBoots.com. Today's post features all our favorite restaurants that B & I ate at while in Charleston. While on vacation, or just living my daily life, I'm working on capturing more of our experiences, so I'm excited to start it off with some of the cutest places we discovered while in Charleston. All of these places had a great atmosphere, which is partly why we picked the place, the "vibe" of a restaurant is so important to me. And they all kill it with their food or drink presentation. Sorry in advance that I wasn't able to snap a picture of everything, but here's a glimpse into a few of my fav's.

Easter is one of my favorite holidays. Every year my parents, grandparents, and now B, gather for a sunrise service at the beach. It's a truly breathtaking experience. The views from atop of the mountain overlooking the ocean and watching the sunrise just reinforce the message of Easter. The service itself, while short is beautiful. A few of the local ministers and pastors from all denominations of churches gather to partake in a celebration of the Lord. I love that for one day a year we are able to set aside differences, come together and rejoice.
This year for Lent I tried to make a mindset shift. To focus on worrying, overthinking, all the things. While it's been a HUGE challenge, I am overwhelmed with the positive changes and success I have recently received. It just reinforces to me how important it is to live and think positively and as a result, good things will come.
Once again, B & I return to South Carolina for April school vacation. I am truly so grateful that I have married someone who also loves to travel like I do. We plan ahead so when the opportunity to travel arises we can take it. Although if you ask me, vacations are never long enough. At the same time, this means that we give up other things, like purchasing a new coffee table or my dream chair at Target. But as we all know, things/ money doesn't buy happiness... so here we are.

Yes. that just happened. We are now in April. Where did the time go?!
For the last weekend in March, B and I couldn't have asked for a better way to end the month. The weekend was just so lovely! I can't believe how lucky we are to live so close to family. While we may not live in the same state as my in-laws we are still just a short long drive away. Over the weekend we got to shower my Mother-in-law in love and celebrations as she turned 60! We also got to visit with my brother-in-law who made the trip in from out of state. We so enjoy anytime we get to spend with him, although we missed visiting with our niece.
