How to Pattern Mix, Charleston Style

Today's post is definitely going to be a favorite of mine. It combines one of my favorite looks, with one of my favorite things; my fiancé & our future. This outfit resembles my daily style. I love to embrace traditional, like midi skirts, to meet trendy pattern mixing. I have a lot of energy and love my outfits to match that spirit. And this outfit definitely does. Also, the best part, this skirt is only $25 and I've linked it below!

I'm just going to be honest... I LOVE Charleston. It is such a quaint city, it actually reminded me of Boston in this way, right by Quincy market. One thing about Charleston, that makes it unique are the colorful streets and the southern hospitality. It is no wonder so many people love to call the south home. Speaking of home, this past weekend my fiancĂ© and I went to register for our wedding. If you follow my Instagram stories, then you know how excited I was to partake in this part of our wedding planning adventures. Creating a wish list for household items made the possibility of our future home more of a reality. We are both beyond excited to partake in the next chapter of our lives, which really got us to thinking about some of the must have's we would want to see in our future ideal home. For starters, I want a big kitchen so we can entertain (not that I am much of a cook) and a large closet (bet you saw that one coming). B would love to have a separate garage/shed so he can "tinker" around with cars and other projects. These are just three of the never ending list, we would love to see in a home, but most importantly we are really just excited to put down roots and start a life together.

What are some of the things you would love to see in your dream house?
