True statement, though. Working out is totally a mental thing. For starters you need to mentally prepare and motivate yourself to actually prioritize working out, especially in today's world where there are so many other things competing for our attention and time.
For example, it's such a bad habit to sit down after work- I'm serious. Sitting down on the couch is one of the worst behavioral habits, because it tells the body to "wind-down" Then, it becomes an even bigger struggle to motivate one's self to work out. Since we are all guilty of our "lazy" moments; today, I am sharing my top tips for how I live a healthy life-style, including what activewear I purchase!

Running:
I tell myself two miles is accomplishing something, but three miles is my actual goal. I have been striving towards 5 miles for the end of the summer. What I love about this workout is it takes less than 30 minutes and feels great! Don't get me wrong, I don't always enjoy running, while actually running, but afterwards ... afterwards feels so good. I promise you can do it too! Grab your headphones, create a playlist of your favorite songs: length 30 minutes & off you go!
Arm workout:
I have recently started to add some weight lifting to my workout routine to help tone my arms, legs, etc. This takes about 15 minutes and I alternate between a couple different expercises. It's super quick but gets the job done. I think it's important to remember working out doesn't have to be a huge time commitment, a little bit each day produces results and helps to create routines for a healthier lifestyle that's actually obtainable.
Life Choices:
I think this is my biggest tip, take advantage of daily routines to make for a healthier lifestyle naturally & authentically. Sure, it's easier to take the elevator but I always take the stairs. My fiancé and I even lug up all our groceries while taking the stairs. We also walk everywhere we can- unless down pouring rain or freezing, otherwise we walk. I also am always up for trying new things. For example, I recently went to a blogger event that featured sampling mocktails (um.. yes, please!) and beach yoga (um... not so much!) However; I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed yoga and now I want to add more of it to my workout routine. My tip: be open to trying new workouts, because some may surprise you!
Rewards:
After working out or making healthy lifestyle choices, remember to reward yourself! I love cute workout clothes, so after I hit a workout goal *running for a specific length of time for x amount of days* I get to treat myself to some new athletic wear. Find out what motivates you, set a goal and work for it, then at the end of the week remember to treat yourself because you d e s e r v e it!
I love your workout pants. if i had pants like this, i would work out daily! I swear! They look fantastic on you
