5 tips on styling a tulle skirt for work

Tulle skirts are one of those items that instantly make me feel so feminine and chic. It is one of those skirts that motivates me to get stuff done at work. I’m a firm believer that the way I dress can impact my productivity. Even with lazy days at home, I make a conscious effort to opt for “comfy” clothes different from my pj’s to help ensure my body doesn’t think it’s time for a nap. So today I'm sharing my tips on how to style a tulle skirt for work. I hope these tips help inspire you to step outside your comfort zone and be bold with your style!

5 quick & easy tips on how to style a tulle skirt for work:
  • Style it with chunky knits
  • Pair it with flats
  • Opt for minimal jewelry
  • Wear your hair down
  • Own it! Be bold, be YOU!
These tips are simple ways to offset the formality of the idea behind a tulle skirt and make it more obtainable for day-to-day wear.  For starters, I love the contrast of wearing an oversized sweater giving off the impression, relaxed but polished. Additionally, flats are an easy way to dress down any look to create that modern-day, every-day girl look. The last tips are just personal preference. For example, I always feel more glamorous when I wear my hair up. It also isn't a natural look for me, so I often feel like I'm out of my comfort zone when I mix two statement pieces together. Although my last tip, it is equally important. If you are feeling it, go for it. I truly believe fashion is such a personal thing, if you love it, it will shine through while you are wearing. At the same time, if you are uncomfortable in something it shows. So with that said. GO for it! You've got this! xx.
