J.Crew Factory Try-On

Apparently y'all love the try-on's as much as I love going in search of some great new finds to share with you guys. I enjoy hearing back from what you guys want to see and there was an overwhelming positive response for more try-on's. I already planned a try-on session for J.Crew Factory because with less than 40 days left of school, I am in work outfit planning mode. And the factory store is one of my favorite places to shop for work basics.

Before we get started, please keep in mind, that our store had a limited stock and I was striking out on sizes left and right, so things may not fit exactly as they should in some of the pictures. Also, I'll be sharing a few things I have my eye on that I discovered while I was getting the post ready and shopping online that weren't available in the store.

So without wasting any time, let's get to it.

Shop:

First up is this Tiered Midi Dress
This dress is perfect for the working girl. I did not see the blue in store, but I am also in LOVE with that one too. Both colors are so vibrant! Plus the weight and style of the fabric means that it's not the type of material that is going to wrinkle after sitting at a desk for a bit.

Rainbow Seersucker Dress
This dress caught my eye for two reasons: pastel rainbow and seersuckers, two of a preppy girl's favorite things. The bottom, skirt part of the dress is double-lined. The cinched waist makes for a really flattering style.

Off the Shoulder Striped Dress
While writing this blog post and getting links for all the items from the try-on, this dress caught This dress is so fun because it can be worn on the shoulders for work or off the shoulder, such a quick way to take the dress from day to night.

Sleeveless Top
Tops like this are such a great basic for work. They pair so well tucked in with dress pants, skirts, etc. Then it easily transitions with denim shorts or jeans with a chic sandal. It comes in four different colors and I'm tempted to get all four.

Button-Front Shorts
Calling on mom's, these shorts are for you! They are on trend with the button front and frayed bottom detailing and are the perfect length providing full coverage and some. They are high-waisted so perfect for tucking in or knotting a tee for an easy on the go look.

Modest Everyday Tank
This is a new style tank for me. I like the look of layered jewelry on top of crew neck tees or sweaters during the winter time, so I figured this tank is a great alternative for those hot summer days.

Classic T-Shirt
I swear by these basic t-shirts. I recommend sizing up one size so I have a little extra room to knot it. This is the v-neck style that I LIVE in during the summer time.

Chambray Shirt
This top was unfortunately a miss for me. I found it to be a little boxy in the shoulders. I liked the idea of it, but I thought just from the weight of the whole shirt there was a lot of extra fabric and would be too hot during the summer.

Leopard Skirt
Pleats, midi, and leopard are IN right now so this skirt is on fire! It's the perfect length for such a chic look in the work place.

Easy Summer Slides in Gold
I grabbed these for the try-on and love how cute they paired with all the outfits. Things to note, they only come in half sizes and they don't have any padding so they are more of sandal to grab for a quick lunch or brunch, not for walking around sight-seeing.

I hope you enjoyed today's blog post as a recap of my try-on from J.Crew Factory. I'm hoping to make a return visit upon their next set of new arrivals. If you have any questions about sizing, always be sure to ask. And don't miss my try-on from Instagram, where I walk you through each piece in person!
