This guide is designed specifically for YOU, my last-minute gift shopper. I know, it's not truly last-minute shopping yet. Most stores are even still guaranteeing delivery for Christmas, with standard shipping for the next few days. Still, I wanted to go ahead and share some last-minute gift options all from Amazon (not sponsored), because who doesn't love Amazon?
Instant Pot- Now B and I don't own one, so I can't personally speak to it; however, I have heard nothing but amazing reviews from everyone who owns one. In my opinion it's basically replacing the crockpot. Long are the days of slow cooking food, now dinner can be prepared in less than an hour.
Juicer- These are one of those luxurious items for the home that you would love to have, but hate to purchase. It's the same as buying a vacuum cleaner, not really the most exciting purchase but a nice item to have. While B and I don't have a juicer, we have an AirFryer (I wish we had the mint green one) that we love to use.
Echo- I've spoken about the Echo's or "Alexa" as we call her many times, but she is really that good. At first, my parents were reluctant about using her, but even now, they enjoy being able to say, "Alexa, turn on the Christmas tree." You need a plug to use features such as having Alexa monitor the lights. Not a luxury we need, but nice to have. If you aren't a fan of technology, such as the google home or Echo, these step-on plugs also make turning the tree on and off a breeze.
Reusable Shopping bags- If you live in the state of CT, then you are familiar with the painful bag tax. In CT, it costs 10cents/ per plastic bag you use. 10cents may not seem like much, but over time it adds up. These reusable bags are printed and are packable, so they fit in your purse, so you are never without a bag.
iPhone & Apple Watch Charging Stand- At first, these stands didn't make sense to me. But after repeatedly miss placing my chargers or waking up to a dead watch, has me thinking these stands aren't such a bad idea. I think I would put it on my nightstand. There's a variety of options and colors, but obviously, I was a fan of this one because it's pink. Also, I don't personally own AirPods, but I've linked this option that also accommodates those.
Headband Organizer- Another storage bin, they get me every time! I'm on board with the headband trend, so naturally, I need something that will help me stay organized. If I can organize something, I am immediately more interested in it! Ever since reading the Art of Tidying Up, I've tried to be more purposeful with "things" in our house. B and I both try to make a conscious effort to put things away each night and also to ensure that everything has a place. If something doesn't have a home, it makes us evaluate whether we really need the item or not.
Weighted Blanket- B and I seem to collect blankets. We are always being gifted and still purchase them. I just love to be cozy! Recently, weighted blankets have become super popular. I haven't tried them, but I'm interested in the benefits. People claim to sleep better and sounder when using one. This particular blanket comes in a variety of colors and sizes, and has over 5,000 reviews and is rated 4.5/5 stars.
Yeti Coffee Mug- I've said it before & I'll say it again, these Yeti Mugs make excellent gifts! Even if the person doesn't drink coffee, these mugs are great for keeping drinks extra hot or cold. Plus, they come in a variety of colors! This is a great gender-neutral gift; possible Yankee swap gift??
Hair Dryer Brush- This blow dryer is amazing! I've tried it, and it gives that "salon" blow out feeling. My only complaint is that it feels extra hot, and I try to be conscious of how much heat I expose my hair too. I would recommend using this on special occasions, or if it's your only hot tool. Also, speaking of hot tools, this mat is designed for keeping your hot tools from burning your counters.
Books! Amazon is my number one place to shop for books. They have everything you can imagine, and they offer the best prices. Currently, some of my favs are: We met in December, Educated, Where the Crawdads Sing, Conviction (on my Christmas List), and Coffee table books, like this one and this one.
