The top 3 items you NEED for Fall

Anne in Anne of Green Gables once said " I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers." This quote that frequently circulates Pinterest this time of year has me feeling like a child before Christmas. I am so excited. I have always thought that I need to actually read Anne of Green Gables in order to fully appreciate the quote, so I've added it to my fall bucket list. Now, before you even say anything, I am aware that we are not in October yet and in fact the weather is supposed to be a high of 80 degrees today in Connecticut. But today is officially the first day of Fall and I SO excited. Besides "pumpkin spice coffee, blanket scarves & everything nice"... today's post is all about my top three must have's for fall are: transitional dresses, booties and a floppy suede hat.

In my opinion a suede hat instantly makes any look more chic. Plus, it's also a staple for fashion bloggers. It's the perfect solution for lazy Saturday's when I want to cover up a combination of greasy hair & bed-hed hair, because let's face it, it is a lot of work to wash & blow dry it.

Transitional dresses are also essential because too often my arms get so cold and have me reaching for a sweater. But long sleeves are the perfect alternative to changing up my dress & sweater routine. Old Navy is currently offering a wide selection of transitional dresses that all are under $30 (check out my favorites that are linked below). Paired with chic booties creates the perfect fall look.
