Shop:
To help make today's post easier and more user-friendly I'm going to share items based on categories.
To get started,
let's talk shoes:
1. Nude pumps.
A pair of nude pumps are classic. These shoes will never go out of style and are perfect for work, or upcoming bridal showers, baby showers, brunches, etc. I love this particular pair because of the blush hue. One great thing about nude pumps is this a HUGE variety, one for every skin tone and heel height!
2. Wrap wedges.
These wedges get so much wear. I love the subtle blush color and love how feminine they are! They pair great with pants, dresses, skirts, you name it. They are also great for days when you don't have a pedicure. I get requests so many for "deals" on shoes and I can't believe I found a pair. This dupe WILL SELL OUT, so be sure to get yours fast!
3. Treasure and Bond wedges.
These are probably the most worn Instagram wedge. Seriously, they are on everyone's feed, but because they are THAT good. I wore them all summer long and they still look brand new. Again, I found another dupe that I reviewed on my stories one day. While a really great affordable option, two things to note, the strap quality is not as good and they are a tiny bit higher.
let's talk accessories:
1. Hat.
This hat is so fun! I'm not really much of a hat person, but I find that this hat goes with everything! It is such a fun look for vacation and also helps protect your face from too much sun. My only complaint is that it is so light, it constantly blows off if it's a windy day.
2. Madewell Bangle.
Y'all this is one of those purchases that I saw in the store and just knew I had to have it. I don't know what it is about it. But I am a sucker for a really good classic everyday piece. I love it because it can stand alone or paired with other bracelets to create a little bracelet stack.
3. Kendra Scott earrings.
These earrings were probably my first ever splurge item for the blog. These are another item that I find myself constantly reaching for. I also love this smaller pair. I wear a lot of gold, so I chose that hardware, however, they offer a variety of stones in silver, gold, or rose gold, so you can customize the hardware to match your current jewelry.
4. Sunglasses c/o DIFF.
Whether you like big sunnies, like me, or a classic pair, sunglasses are so important. Right now, I'm loving this pair even if they are a bit extra!! I find that I am constantly trying to protect my eyes, between the increase in screen time, reading print, and exposure to sun I worry about my eyes. I invested in my first pair of polarized sunglasses and I cannot believe the different they make! This is my go-to pair when I know I'll be at the beach, or exposed to the sun for long periods of time. Plus, I feel like they elevate any look and help on the days you don't feel like wearing makeup.
let's talk clothes:
1. Classic Button-down.
This shirt is so good it's making a second appareance on the blog this week! If you're looking for some inspiration on how to wear this shirt now, check out this post. I actually adore this style so much that I have the striped version (literally the softest button-down I own). Both of these will be coming with me on our upcoming weekend to visit my in laws, as well as our trip to SC in April.
2. Striped Sweater.
As soon as I saw this sweater in the store, I immediately thought of my mom. This is one of those sweaters my mom would scoop up and style it so many ways and I would be kicking myself all season long for not getting it. At first glance, you may think what's so great about it? I'm hear to tell you EVERYTHING. This sweater is a tad oversized (get your normal size) because the fit makes it perfect for layering as a beach cover up, or knotting it over a dress. Whatever way you wish to style it, this $18 is a basic piece that's a must-have for spring.
3. Denim jacket.
A denim jacket is such a classic piece. It's probably the basis for my spring and summer capsule wardrobes. They look good with everything. Just the other day, I paired it with a button-down and dress pants for a chic look for work. This is also one of those items that I think are worth the splurge I know the cost/wear is worth it. I recently added this denim jacket into my rotation c/o Loft and have been looking for a lighter wash, like this one or this one.
4. White denim.
This is a NEED for everyone. I know I say need a lot, which is often times unnecessary, as I don't really need any more clothes. However; white jeans are one of those items that just look fabulous on EVERYONE. If you're nervous about this trend, try a cream color like this option and style it with a tunic for extra coverage. The options with white denim are endless. I highly recommend you treat yourself to a pair this spring. I just added this under $30 pair into my wardrobe for a more relaxed look.
5. Easy Dress.
This dress is SO affordable. Y'all it goes on sale for only $20. How can you not scoop it up?? It's the perfect length for work, has cap sleeves and comes in 5 different colors. Pair it with your denim jacket & nude pumps for a spring-ready look!
Love these staples! Your dress is so pretty, love the colors and pattern!
