Your New Favorite Floral Skirt & Chambray Top

Good Row Clothing has done it again with this pretty floral number. I first fell in love with the bright colors in this skirt and then the length, I mean who doesn't love a good midi skirt? Being a teacher it's always that fine line of length, when it comes to choosing a dress or skirt Although, the first time I saw this skirt it was love at first sight, the skirt was sold out! So I signed up to be emailed a notification when they restocked (thinking do these even work?) well YES they do work. A couple weeks later I got an email notification enforming me that my must have skirt had been restocked. I immediately bought the skirt and was flattered when Good Row asked to partner with me for a shoot. 

So this week it finally became nice again in CT! Actually scratch that, it wasn't just nice, summer has officially arrived. It seems New England decided to skip Spring this year, which is fine by me. Now that summer is here, flowy (spelling? not sure that is even a word) skirts and dresses are definitely in my rotation.

Good Row designed this skirt (linked here) to be paired with and "dress up" your everyday basics. I knew this would be a perfect pair to my wardrobe since I LOVE basic wardrobe staples. Today, I chose to pair this bright floral skirt with my chambray shirt. And what is especially great about this top from J.Crew (old) is the not so basic bejeweled collar.
