the best boot cut jeans you NEED & 5 things I've been loving lately

Happy Monday!! I spent a good portion of the day on Sunday cleaning and I discovered that a lot of things I have been loving lately are items that are timeless and classic. I have definitely mentioned complained more than once about the size of our apartment. Our apartment, is small, so we have to be thought about every brought in and everything we keep. As a result, I've been starting to really rethink my look & what my style is. I've always had a thing for denim. I love a good pair of jeans; however, it seems I'm always settling and purchasing. With that being said, I think I've finally found the perfect pair of boot cut jeans you NEED. Additionally, I'm sharing 5 things I've been loving lately and think you will too!

5 Things I've been loving lately:

Boot-Cut Jeans:
This style denim is perfect for work. It's the best way to feel casual but look polished and put together. I wanted a pair that was long so I could pair them with a classic pump. I realize that this particular pair is a bit more expensive than most would spend on jeans. I bought them as an investment with the intentions for them to be dressier and higher quality. I've also been purchasing a few pairs from Express and recommend them as a more budget friendly alternative.

Podcasts:
I have been big fan of Joyce Meyers devotionals for a years now, it was actually my mom who originally recommended her and now I'm hooked. I find her passage selections to be extremely thoughtful and her interpretations of the bible really relatable. With that said, I've only just recently discovered her podcast; which she posts daily Monday-Friday. They are usually 20 minutes in length and perfect for my morning drive into work. I find that listening to her podcasts really help with my mindset for the day.

Crock-Pot Meals:
This is a recent addition to my favorite things. This year, B and I have been making more of an effort to eat at home and crock-pot meals have been a lifesaver. My family actually introduced me to this concept. We try to get together once every few months and meal prep. At this time, we prepare multiple meals in advance to be frozen, this way dinner is ready during the week without the prep or mess!

Scarves:
Y'all I LOVE this trend for spring. This is such an affordable way to change up a look. The smaller square style scarf are so versatile. This one scarf can be worn as a head wrap the 50's are making a comeback), neck scarf (reminds me of France) or around my favorite bag (pictured above).

Youtube:
Lydia Elise Millen... just embodies everything I love about England. Her fashion sense is so defined and her taste is incredible. Lydia and her husband just moved into their dream house and I love watching her design and decorate the interior. She also shares in my love of candles and Fortnum & Mason. They recently put some of their whicker baskets in their living area and I'm obsessed. Plus I LOVE how much she values her friendships.
