If you are reading this then OBVIOUSLY, you know I have a blog. And many of my friends feel the same way. "Yes, Lauren, we know you have a blog, but now what..." I am constantly worrying about 'over posting' or bothering my friends so I figured I would help everyone out by writing this post.
It wasn't until about two weeks into blogging when some friends I met through my fiancé (now husband) brought up my blog. It was one of my first times talking about it in a social setting and these girls made my day. For starters they said, "We love your blog. Now tell us how do you shoot all those photos?" This was my first encounter breaking the news that NO I do not and never will wake up extra early to take blog photos in the morning at 5am before work. I save photo shoots for the weekend. Then I was able to ask the question "Am I posting TOO much on Instagram?!" This is when I was pleasantly surprised when they said "No, not enough!" This. Seriously. Made. My. Day. It gave me the confidence and encouragement I needed to consistently post and promote my blog. Thanks ladies for this advice you helped me more than you may have realized. Now who knows if they still feel this way, but these comments mean more to your blogger friends then you realize, so let's get to it.
