all white outfit for summer & the week ahead at a glance

Good morning and happy Monday! I am loving all the trends that are making appearances this summer. Some of my favorites of the moments are loose curls (#beachhairdontcare), bandana headbands (which you will see my sporting a lot on my IG stories), big earrings, and denim skirts! Since a denim skirt isn’t a piece of clothing I would wear to work, I opted for a more affordable option from Abercombie & Fitch…. Flashback, I know! Then, I paired the denim skirt with a comfortable white tissue tee for an instantly put-together look. An all white-outfit is a favorite look of mine during the summer months.

I can’t believe it is already the second week in July. Where is the time going? During the precious summer months, when the weather is just perfect, and my daily schedule is flexible, I try not to look past the end of the week to remain present and just enjoy the moment at hand. 

On the agenda this week: 

Monday- Open the library at school to promote a love of reading by first and foremost providing students with access to books. I also plan to take a break from the sun, as my stomach is now a little pink from our trip to the beach this weekend. As a result, I want my skin to heal properly before returning to the beach. This is also the perfect excuse for me to focus on editing, linking, etc. to get all things ready for upcoming blog posts. 

Tuesday- I have class during the day, then later, B & I plan to watch America’s Got Talent. We LOVE this show. 

Wednesday- Spending the day with my beautiful mama and watching England compete in the semi-finals their first time in the final four since 1990.

Thursday- setting my alarm early because….
