easy & affordable summer outfit

I'm backkkk! I hope everyone had a fabulous 4th of July. With that said I have to say THANK YOU, thank you, thank you! Y'all (yes, you reading my blog) are truly amazing. I was so overwhelmed and thankful to hear from followers reaching out asking where my posts have been. I had to take a step back from blogging to regroup, stay present, and prioritize some things in my life, like the end of school (my full-time job) and taking a class, to name a few.

On that same note, I am SO excited that summer is here and I am ready to share some exciting and affordable looks. These shorts are a little bit pricey; however, I live in shorts during the summer months and take care to wash them on delicate to preserve them for next year.  To help offset some of the cost my everyday tissue tee is on sale for less than $15, and my sunnies are from Target!

Featured in today's look:

similar sunnies // similar crossbody bag (mine & this option cab be monogrammed!)

Did you watch the World Cup, England V. Columbia on Tuesday??? Oh my goodness, the game was an intense one! It appeared that England had won the game at a time of 80/85 minutes, which is exactly why the last ten minutes of any game are SO critical! With less than 8 minutes left in the game, out of nowhere a Columbian player snuck in and scored a goal tieing up the game. As a result, the teams went to a 30 minute over time. (The teams play for the full time, not until the first goal.) Then, after no additional goals were scored the teams went to penalty kicks for the deciding factor. Right before the penalty kicks, the network aired all the classic fails England had previously been apart of penalty kicks in the world cup. However; with that said, their streak of bad luck had to end eventually, and now ENGLAND is off to the quarterfinals! Their game will air Saturday in the morning.

B & I were discussing where we will be viewing this game. We might even have to plan an English brunch! Will you be watching the game??
