February Instagram Round Up

WE MADE IT. Welcome to March!

Woo Hoo, just saying that puts a smile on my face.

We had the best start to our weekend with a dinner festivities with friends. It was so nice to have a catch up with them. It also nice because we even got to bed at a decent hour, that's my favorite kind of catch up.

Following, dinner we had a slow start to our weekend with a stop at one of favorite local bakeries for breakfast. We had a lovely, relaxed breakfast, just the two of us and snapped a few photos for y'all. I'm pretty sure I provided the workers with the morning entertainment, but so worth it to avoid the cold outdoors.

I'll be honest I have been so spoiled with the weather that I wasn't prepared for the cold this weekend and could NOT do it. It was cold and windy I couldn't snap any photos outside. So instead I spent hours scouring the internet looking for some of the latest spring trends I'm excited to share with y'all over the next few weeks. But before we get to all things spring, I figured I would kick off March by revisiting our top 5 favorite posts from February.

My first post of the month was actually the BIG reveal of my short hair! I can't believe it's already been a month since I took out my hair extensions and gave my hair a big refresh. I absolutely LOVE it. It was so refreshing and has helped to inspire me for 2020. If you've been debating about giving your hair the chop, I highly recommend it. Also, stay tuned because I have an exciting giveaway coming up all about hair!

Another favorite was the shoe round up! I'm so glad y'all loved this post because I went back and forth about it so many times because the lighting was so tricky. But I think we found a winner. It is safe to assume that photos like this one will be showing up a lot more! I am looking forward to swapping all my OTK boots for some open-toed sandals, well maybe not quite yet, but at least swapping them for some cute flats.

Target try on! No surprise here that another favorite photo was my spring haul from Target. I LOVED sharing this try on with y'all because each item is under $25. Who doesn't love a good deal?? Target is always my go-to for affordable trendy items and affordable home decor. Usually, I create a vision board with all things PB and then find great dupes at a fraction of the cost at Target.
Lastly, I want to point out these leopard heels! Normally, I think with shoes you pay for what you get. That is not the case with these. These heels are sO comfortable. I own 3 colors because I wear them constantly in the late spring/summer all day teaching and they don't hurt my feet.

I love sharing this picture with y'all because it's the first step towards sharing more home decor! Already this year I've been spending some time refreshing our home with various little and affordable details and can't wait to share some more home decor with y'all! When it comes to home decor, what is something you are usually shopping for? I look for things that are affordable seasonal decor that can be switched out season to season and opt for investing in quality pieces, like our bed frame, couch, etc.

Last up is one of my mani pictures. I have SO much fun sharing these with y'all and I'm so happy that it's become a "thing." Also, if you ever use one as inspiration, I'd love to see how your's came out. I especially love this manicure because it's all shades of pink, which I love, and my first ever matte manicure. I think it's safe to say I'll be doing another matte manicure in the near future.

Well, that's a wrap! I loved getting to revisit our top 5 favorite posts from Instagram during the month of February. I hope this post fills your day with some style inspiration! I'm looking forward to embracing a new month of fresh content.
