I hope you had a wonderful weekend. B and I took full advantage of the beautiful weather and spent a large portion of the weekend outside. We've started to create some new traditions, covid style, and I love it. This weekend we had our weekly family dinner with my parents, spent Sunday morning at the beach, and ended the day at a local Vineyard. I'm so impressed with all the safety precautions the state has adopted so that things can start to return to the "new" normal.
As many are returning to work, I was excited to partner with Ann Taylor to share a few new pieces from their summer collection that are perfect for work or date night, or an afternoon at the vineyard with friends.

If this bright yellow top doesn't capture summer, I don't know what does. Ann Taylor is just killing it with the tops this season, and this little number does not disappoint. It is so on-trend, with ruffle sleeves and smocked detailing. And the high neck just gives a modest, but regal look that pairs great for the office environment while still giving off those feminine vibes.
I love accessories. I've always been a sucker for a good pair of earrings, or a new bag. These earrings for the summer preview are going to be on repeat. The yellow gives a fun summery feel to any look. Another piece for the preview I was really excited about was this scarf. It's such a fun way to change up some of your closet staples. For this look, I simply tied it to my bag for a relaxed look. It can be wrapped around the handle, worn as a scarf in your hair, or worn as a bracelet. The lemon print also reminds me to be positive.
A pair of white jeans are the epitome of a summer capsule wardrobe. There are so many variations of styles available, and each year the options seem to increase. A classic pair of white jeans is something I find myself always reaching for.
I feel in love with this pair of high waisted denim from Ann Taylor because of the fit. The high rise skinny jean fit is so flattering! They are known as their "sculpting" pair, and they honestly just fit your natural body. Plus, the button-front detailing is so on-trend at the moment.
Another thing that is worth pointing out is the color! They are more of a "creamy" white, which is so perfect for mixing with all neutrals and pairs well with a pop of color. Plus, they are not-see through, which is a MUST when picking denim for me.
Special *Thank you* to Ann Taylor for sponsoring this post, all thoughts and opinions are my own!
Stay tuned
for another look featuring the same skinny white jeans with a nod to the 70's style.
